We chose to give the "dog tags" to our 15 year old twin sons. We prefaced the gift with the analogy of the military and what their dog tags mean - belonging, reminder of why and for whom they serve. Then we turned to Bible to remind them of their belonging, and finally, we said of ourselves how much we love them and want them to always be reminded. Even to clutch the tags and feel the edges pressed against their hands when they are struggling with something in life - a visual and physical reminder. Thank you for such a well made, beautiful product.
